What is the program you guys are using to similcast this conference? Some of the graphics look very similar to Mac programs. Was just wondering if you could shed a little light on the subject...thanx 4 ur help.

John Ortberg is a gift to those non-believer leaders at this Summit. They don't know it yet ... but they will. Some day. Hopefully sooner rather than later. God was at work throughout the life of Esther ... and God is at work on each person here today. PRAISE HIM!!

And just as importantly for me, do I know what highjacks my true calling and draws me into my shadow mission? Often it's my pride, anger or ignorance. John always makes me think...grow...change.

Baker / Mike / Eric - To answer some of the technical/software ?s: * primary broadcast is via satellite * Most of the animated stuff was done in AE... * The lead-ins (after the countdown) are all 3ds Max, composited / post-processed in AE (for motion blurs and lens blurs) / finished in FCP. :)

Greg Bowman... my take on the "shadow mission." That which, if not for God in your life, you'd naturally become or feed. I'd start with examining where you tend find your greatest mind battles. For instance, for myself, if not for God in my life, I'd most likely do what I want when I want with no concern for others in addition to constantly seeking to feed an inappropriate sexual appetite. Fortunately our team constantly provides a platform for transparency of our hearts... not that we get it right all the time, but we are certainly seeking to take on the secret places in all of our hearts that seek to strangle us. WOW!! John is such a gifted speaker. I will never look at the book of Esther the same way. 2 take-aways for me 1. Our pastor, Marcie and I were so excited to hear John talk about women in leadership. I am blessed to be in a church that empowers women to lead!!!!! My wife, Marcie and I are are both benefiting from this personally and the church is benefiting by both of us being on staff in the area of worship and the arts. I heard someone say that our areas of giftedness from God don't come in pink and blue. 2. Do I have any "shadow missions"? I need to spend some serious alone time and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal those areas in me.

Ortberg is a gifted speaker and the session was simply outstanding . Ortberg knows hows to capture an audience with his wit and his great teaching. How creative it was of Ortberg to use the Book of Ester to talk about leadership/mission. This session alone was worth the price of admission.

I was amazingly touched by John's message and prayer, God definitely spoke the truth to me, and it wasn't easy to hear. I have been desperately trying to find the song Greg Ferguson sang during the session and can't find it. Can someone post a link or video or more information about the song?
