I've talked to a number of leaders this week. It's been a rough 7 days.
It has been hard pulling services together. There have been difficult conversations. And some have had to lay off some gifted artists because of our current economic realities.
Some are carrying heavy personal burdens. Strained relationships. Health issues. And just a weariness.
I wanted to let you know that I pray for you guys as you ready yourselves to serve. I ask God to make away for His message to be heard, for lives to be changed. I ask God to bless your team's relationships. And then I ask him to give you a time of refreshment & renewal.
So, as we move into the weekend here is the prayer I offer.
O God, our Father, renew our spirits and draw our hearts to Thyself, that our work may not be to us a burden but a delight; and give us such love to Thee as may sweeten all our obedience. Help us that we may serve Thee with the cheerfulness and gladness of children, delighting ourselves in Thee and rejoicing in all that is to the honor of Thy name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
