Discouraged and Struggling

Hard to believe the summer is almost over.  These last three months have seemed to just fly by.  My oldest is starting high school this year and my husband and I have kids in two different schools on very different schedules. This week, I've been running around trying to get all the school supplies, last minute sport physicals and school registration finalized.  In addition to that, trying to be a patient, loving and kind wife and mother,  attentive and compassionate friend, supportive daughter and helpful sister.   Oops....forgot to mention dedicated employee.  Oh yeah....and child of God.

Just today, I was feeling a bit discouraged about the pace I've been running to get ready for school and wondering if I'm the only one struggling to be all I want to be.

If you've ever felt like this....check out this video from this summer's Arts Conference....A Few Minutes More with Francis Chan.  His words were a great encouragement to me today.

It is interesting I feel more relaxed preparing to empty my nest, sending our second child to college, then I did with high school preparation! It should be a very interesting Fall! Hang in there
